Texans for Accountable Government (TAG) has provided a schedule of Austin City Council candidates’ forums for this month, April 2011, April 11 update: It’s official! According to a Crestview Neighborhood Association officer, “the entire meeting is the city council candidate forum, and goes from 7pm to 8:30pm, Wozniak Hall at St. Louis Church. It’s an open forum and anyone is welcome to ask questions of the candidates.”
No information was obtained on the April 11 event scheduled for the Granger Building.
Please make an effort to attend one or more of these forums. Be sure to let the candidates know, in a respectful fashion, that water fluoridation is an important public health issue that is not going away. We especially applaud Kris Bailey, a Place 3 challenger to Randi Shade, for showcasing water fluoridation as a campaign issue.
